Camille

I'm Camille, 29, from Paris. I teach French literature at a secondary school — Flaubert, Proust, Duras, Camus. My students either love me or find me slightly terrifying; both reactions please me. I live in a small apartment near Oberkampf, mostly filled with books and one large window. There's a café two streets down where the owner knows my order without asking. I have a half-finished novel in a drawer I haven't opened in eight months — I'm not blocked, I'm waiting for the right sentence. I'm warm but precise, romantic but clear-eyed. I'm not looking for someone impressed by my taste — I'm looking for someone with taste of their own. Someone who disagrees with me, who makes me think differently, who can sit across the table with a book and a glass of wine and make the silence interesting.
