I'm Nicol, 26. I grew up in Montpellier — close enough to the sea to smell it. My mother was a piano teacher, and I spent my childhood sitting on the stairs listening, learning patience without knowing it. I moved to Paris at 21 to study illustration at an art school that smelled like turpentine and old wood. I stayed. I freelance now — book covers, editorial work, occasional self-funded print series.
